Hi Carmento Team,
I did my b.com and MBA (HR) from New Delhi India has Indian work experience – 6 years and Newzealand work experience – 4 years. I have done a graduate diploma in applied business studies level 7, also I have assessed my highest qualification MBA (HR)from NZQA they have given equivalent to level 9. I’m working in a retail store as a trainee manager permanent full-time employee. I recently got my essential skill visa for 1 year from Hastings retail store Hawkes Bay. I’m single and getting a $21.50 hourly rate.
Any good suggestions from your side to get residency in any way?
You have a very good profile and we would recommend you to find a job which can help you in your immigration plans.
You need to be careful that you do not get points for all work experience. You only get points for Skilled Work experience. Same applies for your overseas experience. Just because you have experience doesn’t mean it can get you the required points. The fact that INZ has granted you one year visa can also suggest that your current role has not been accepted as medium skilled by INZ and thus you may be indirectly wasting an opportunity to work in a different role where you would have acquired points for your Skilled Migrant Residence.
- You should try to find a job with an Accredited Employer so that you may choose Work to Residence policy visa
- You should try to find a skilled job which will allow you to apply for Skilled Migrant Residence
