Are the new changes regional skill shortage list helpful
Essential Skills category will assess your application against ANZSCO whereas the employer assisted work visa policy didn’t stress much on ANZSCO but on relevancy to your NZ education. What is required for you to become a registered teacher? If you are thinking about applying for an Essential Skills visa, you need to establish if your employer has capacity constraints on 80-20 percentage ratio. They may not actually be able to offer you the role of a teacher but instead offer you a role of an unskilled teacher. (as per our experience with other clients). Based on the actual job offer you get, you would need to prove to INZ that you are suitably qualified for the role.
